To celebrate the 100th anniversary of his birth, we will be doing Benjamin Britten's "A Ceremony of Carols" for treble voices and harp. This piece, written on a transatlantic voyage from the US to England, is strongly associated with boy choirs but was first premiered by a women's choir! I wanted to share with you a YouTube recording of the piece performed by women that I recently came across. I hope you enjoy!
The recording is in two parts, you may need to go to YouTube to watch the second half.
