Christmas Considerations

I know what you are thinking, it is not even July and you are thinking about Christmas music!?!

Because of my recital, this may well be one of the most thought about and analyzed programs I have put together. I head off to Westminster Conducting Institute for a week of music nerdiness, I can't wait. I have heard from multiple sources that Westminster (Choir College) has one of the best choral libraries in the country and the area of choral music that I am always researching is sacred music for women's voices. I decided I would do a little home work before I left so that I knew what to look for. In case you've never done it, searching for choral music is like following the rabbit into the hole, it leads to all sorts of new and strange places. I wanted to share a few of the pieces I've found that I am very excited about.
